Preservation Pennsylvania welcomes a new intern this summer!

| May 21, 2013
Miriah O’Connor will be our summer 2013 intern here at Preservation Pennsylvania. She just finished her first year of graduate education at Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Miriah is working on her Masters in History and currently holds a Bachelor’s in History from California University of Pennsylvania. She will be taking over our blog and news feeds this summer, so all of the practice she has writing papers will come in handy!
Miriah will be writing about some of her different projects here with us at Preservation PA. She will also be looking around for new or interesting historic preservation and transportation projects around the state. She enjoys researching and writing about different historic topics, which until now have been in the subject of American Women’s history.
Check back with us a few times a week for new blog posts. We have some interesting new stories in the works here. We will be heading to Pittsburgh for the Statewide Conference on Heritage in July and will be featuring some news about the conference during the next two months. And for those of you who can’t make it to Pittsburgh to join us this summer we will be covering many of the conference workshops and tours on the blog. Happy reading, and see you at the next post!
